On Friday December 7, some members of the National Executive Committee of the National Union of Ghana Students, thus Richmond Asare Tinkaro(President) and Eunice Gariba(International Relations Secretary) joined the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) which had ‘observe and reckon ahead’ as its motto for their general assembly meeting at Eastoment Lodge, Cantonment.
In presence was also the president of Ghana union of Professional Studies, H.E Sarpong Justice, who affirmed his commitment in serving students of the various GUPS Institutions.
NUGS used the opportunity to congratulate the news senators of Nafti General Assembly and also encouraged them to show much commitment and dedication in the discharge of their duties as senators.
The President of NUGS, H.E Richmond Asare Tinkaro in his speech appreciated the commitment of the Nafti SRC president, H.E Kwabena Antwi who has been very supportive of the union since his assumption of office as SRC president.
The president reaffirmed the commitment of the union in ensuring a continuous positive relationship between the National Secretariat of NUGS, National Executive Committee and General Assembly of NAFTI.
The president in his speech stated that the union is forever ready to assist the Student Representative Council of Nafti and as such they should always call on NUGS whenever the need be, for such is part of the reasons we were elected as National Executives of NUGS.
The president further stated his continuous commitment in helping to resolve the challenges of the Union through all possible means in order to salvage the future of the union.
